Strategy Guide

What To Do

  • -Relatively easy matchup in lane, play map after 6. She has two damage abilities besides R - her Q which has 900 range, and her E which has 825 range. They both significantly outrange our AA range of 525. Her Q will be her main source of damage if she hits it, so like any mage matchup, if she uses her Q on the minions or misses it on you, instantly go in for an E trade and punish her. Do not try to E her if her abilities are up, as she can easily retaliate with her long range combo and chunk you heavily.
  • -Early sustain will be helpful in this lane, so consider purchasing gluttonous and/or refillables if you find yourself getting hit often.
  • -She will sometimes user her W to disengage from your E. It is an OP get out of free jail card for her, and there's not much you can do here besides trying to land a prediction Q. However, it is generally more worth to simply wait out her invisibility unless you are chasing for a kill. This ability has a 22 second cooldown at level 1, so you can go for big trades when her W and her Q are down.
  • -You both scale well into mid and late game, so push out side-lane waves, play the map, and secure objectives.

Level-by-Level

L1

Conduct the Quinn Cheese level 1. Try to dodge her Q, since she can proc her passive with an auto for damage and heal herself. Zone her off the wave after she runs to her tower by standing in between the wave and her body.

L2

She will level E next - you can confidently go for trades when she misses her Q.

L3

She will likely have her W now, which allows her to disengage from our combo. Look to punish her in the 22 second window after she uses it.

L6

Her ult is very versatile for both dueling you and escaping. Her ult is like a Camille R that slows you, and she can dash through it by interacting with the walls (she will end up on the opposite side of the wall she interacted with). The main threat though will still be her Q+E combo, which she can land more easily due to the slow and which can do insane damage once she has items. Consider flashing that combo if you are low.
