What To Do
- -This is an incredibly Quinn favored matchup, because your E hard counters her Q engage. Her Q is also always on a longer cooldown than our E, so she does not have a window like Jax to re-engage while our E is down.
- -Briar will typically engage by using W to lock onto you and the Q to gap close/stun you. As long as you save your E to cancel her Q, which is a slightly slower Pantheon W. Your E will be easier to land, because Briar Q is pretty telegraphed after she presses W. Just be careful of good Briars, who will Q when they are much closer to you to reduce the time you have to react.
- -She cannot cancel her W lock unless she presses E, so when she presses W, immediately Q her and start kiting. Briar is typically very squishy, so you have a window to DPS her when she hits W. She will also be unable to Q you when she is nearsighted.
- -Post-6, just watch out for her ultimate - if you hear the sound cue, walk to an unpredictable location like one of the sides of the lane.
Level-by-Level
Look for a Quinn Cheese - she will likely start Q or E, so be prepared to cancel a Q with your E. Harass and deny minion exp from the first wave.
She will have both E and Q now, so continue to play aggressively, canceling any Q with your E and going for big trades. She cannot do anything to us.
She will have W now, which will give her increased move speed. When she W's to engage, Q her and follow-up with DPS, and be ready to E her Q gap close. She can run us down, so be mindful of your map positioning and health. Recall or play back if you do not have enough HP to kite her back to safety.
If she ults, walk to an unpredictable location. If you do get tagged, note her fear hits everyone except the ulted target, so Q her and get ready to cancel her Q jump. If you get stunned, use E to create distance
