What To Do
- -K'Sante is similar to the Fiora/Morde matchup — weaker pre-6, but dangerous when he ults.
- -Ksante like other tanks is not the best at matching or punishing your roams, so always try to shove wave and then look for roams to secure objectives and get team ahead.
- -You also hard outscale him in the mid and late game, so farm up and play the map. Ksante is just a bit too nerfed right now, and hopefully he stays that way for a while.
- -During laning phase, you can bully him pretty easily as long as you save vault for until he completely finishes using his W. Vaulting during W gets you stunned.
- -Do NOT vault when his Q3 is charged — he can buffer Q3 and knock you toward him while you are mid-vault.
- -His empowered W post-ult doesn't stun, but it will still block the CC from your vault, so wait until after it finishes to vault it.
- -Do not attempt to fight Ksante in his Ult form unless you are giga ahead. He can burst you out of nowhere just building full tank items.
- -You can vault his E, but there is rarely a good reason to — he can combo W with his E, so vaulting his E puts you in range for the follow-up W.
Level-by-Level
Matchup Tip: His W and Q3 have priority over your vault — save vault until W is completely finished. If you vault during his W animation, he will stun you (like Fiora W). Same for Q3: do not vault when it is charged, as he can buffer Q3 and knock you toward him.
You have an edge pre-6. Play confidently but watch for W. His W is his main CC setup — save vault strictly to disengage after W is finished, not to engage. You can go for a big trade with vault if he wastes W for some reason. His E and Q3 are easy to dodge / kite if there is no threat of W.
After he ults, he gets another empowered charge of W. If he engaged on you properly, your vault should still be up — save vault until after he finishes the empowered W. Disengage immediately after K'Sante ults. Look for wall-hop vaults since you will often be near a wall after his ult knocks you. Perfectly OK to use sums if you are in a sub-optimal position.
