What To Do
- -The name of the game in this matchup is to dodge Q2 during lane, and press E when she ults you. You will outscale if you play safe until 2-3 items, so avoid taking bad trades and allowing her to snowball.
- -If playing the assassination build, farm up safely during laning phase conserve HP. Her only real threats pre-6 is her Q poke, so avoid getting hit by the 2nd Q cast since it does bonus physical damage. You'll be able to chunk or kill her once you get 2-3 items.
- -If playing with precision tree, you can play more aggressively and sustain with absorb life/fleet. Similarly, once you hit 2-3 items, you'll be able to 1v1 her. And picking up early armor boots here will drastically reduce her chip damage from her Q and packmates.
- -Big roaming opportunities in this lane - so shove it out when you can and play the map.
Level-by-Level
You can look to Quinn Cheese. If Naafiri starts Q, her skill shot ability, save your E until after you sidestep her two casts of Q. In general, you want to try and dodge the second cast of her Q, because getting his the second time will do bonus physical damage to you and also heal Naafiri.
If she started W, you can E after she becomes targetable again and harass with autos. Just note that Naafiri and her packmates get a burst of AD and movement speed for a couple seconds after leaving her W, so avoid trading autos in melee range.
Pre-6, save your E for her E. If she presses E towards you for some reason, immediately hit her with an AA - E - AA for a short trade. Otherwise, most of the lane will be her poking with Q1 and Q2. If she misses her Q2, that is your window to trade back with Q and autos for about 8 seconds.
Always hold your E to cancel the dash and damage of Naafiri's ult (either casts). She has 2 other mobility abilities in her kit, but they don't do nearly as much damage as her Ult, so canceling the ult when she engages on you is the biggest priority.
If you use E offensively after she reaches lvl 6 and she lives your combo, she can immediately turn around to ult you and one-shot you while your vault is down.
Once you get 2-3 items, you should be able to start 1v1'ing / one-shotting her.
